I’m Luis (or Ludipe) and I’m a game designer. I do a bit of everything, work for clients, my own indie games, and lots of experimental projects for fun.
I have also worked managing events, grants for game developers, teaching degree students, and some other things.
Work for clients
I’m mostly involved in pre-production, helping clients figure out the details of the project, doing fast prototype iteration, creating documentation for production, and helping select teams.
I’ve been offering these services for many years and I adapt to each situation. Some of the clients I’ve worked with in the past include Passion Animation Studios, Carina Initiatives, Starshot Solutions, and Webedia Group. Learn more about this.
Commercial projects
When I started making games I cofounded a studio called AlPixel Games that produced two commercial games. After that, I began focusing on freelance work.
But every here and there I still direct commercial projects, working with teams of freelancers under the brand Ludipe and Friends. Learn more about this.
Small games
I adore making small games, things made in a couple of days or hours just for fun. I even join 1-hour-long game jams. I’ve published over 100 of these tiny projects that range from weird physical games to thoughtful puzzle treats. Learn more about this.
Events
I’ve worked as a regional Global Game Jam organizer for years, created and supported game jams in collaboration with the Spanish government, acted as a program curator in many occassions, and organized all sorts of community initiatives. Learn more about this.
Resources
There’s some existing resources (mostly articles and lists) I’ve made in the past that I want to transfer over here (as well as some new things I have in mind). Learn more about this.
